This oriental refrigerator magnet features the Summer Palace - an imperial garden in Peking, China.

Located 20 kilometers from the Tiananmen, the Summer Palace is an outstanding expression of the creative art of Chinese landscape garden design. It is a perfect combination of natural landscape of hills and water with artifical architecture of pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges. The Summber Palace was constructed during Chinese Qing Dynasty, and was listed as World Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization in 1998.
